The Kent Low Handicap 2023
Wednesday, July 19, 2023
8:45 AM Announcements - 9:00 AM Jet Start
The Kent is a one day, four-ball stroke play competition. Four players score with their two best balls on each hole. The lowest total score of the two best balls of the four competitors on each hole, net and gross, will determine the winners. The field is limited to 88 players. Entries are open to amateur golfers who are members of a GCWGA member club, have posted ten (10) scores during 2022 and 2023, and have a current GHIN handicap index that is 20.0 or lower.
Handicaps will be adjusted for the slope/rating of the course with a maximum of 36 strokes no matter how high the player's index. The handicaps will be played at 85%, as suggested by the USGA for best-ball-of-four stroke play events. Players do not need to be members of the same club.
